Pattern Notes ~ To avoid puckering, carry colors loosely across WS of work. To eliminate working in ends, carry yarn color not in use vertically while working pattern. Catch yarn every few rows.

Earflaps are worked flat, top down; beanie portion of the hat is worked in the round, bottom up. Colorwork is charted.
