Flash Flap Hat
Made with a bulky yarn, this hat works up superfast and has a fun and funky attitude. Alpaca silk–blend yarn worked at a loose gauge gives the casual, textured hat plenty of drape.
HOOK Size M/13 (9 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
NOTIONS St markers (m); yarn needle; two 1 1/4” buttons; sewing needle and matching thread; 4 1/2” wide piece of cardboard (for pom-pom).
GAUGE 9 1/2 sts and 13 rows = 4” in moss patt; Rnds 1–5 = 4”.
