Due to changes to EU legislation with regard to Value Added Tax liability from 1st January 2015 I have decided to temporarily suspend pattern sales until it becomes clear what the best option for me will be. I will also be using this opportunity to develop some new patterns, revise layouts, make any amendments and take some new photos. I haven’t set a date for reopening my Ravelry store but it’s unlikely to be before early summer 2015. Knit Now magazine is working with a team of designers to produce a collection of Marvellous Mittens to support the Roald Dahl Marvellous Children’s Charity. This is the first release from this collection.

Roald Dahl is famous for his stories and rhymes that still spark children’s imaginations today. Much less well known, however, is how he often went out of his way to help seriously ill children – reading at hospital bedsides and even helping to buy special wheelchairs that parents couldn’t afford themselves.

Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity continues this fantastic work by providing nurses, equipment, carers and toys to help make life that little bit better for seriously ill and disabled children living with life-long neurological and blood
conditions.
