Flaming Arrows
Simple chevrons made by alternating paired increases with paired decreases get an interesting design enhancement through the use of a long-repeat variegated yarn. The layers of color form peaks and valleys on the leg and concentric semicircles on the toe. Any type of color variegated yarn will work in this design -- high or low contrast and long, short, or no color repeats.
