Flaki Socks
by Fibrely
Flaki Socks are knit from the toe up using Fair Isle colourwork. The short-row heel uses increases and decreases, without any wrap and turns so it’s very easy to do. The I-cord cast off edge is not only pretty, but provides loads of extra stretch without a ripple.
The socks can easily be knit using two circulars or Magic Loop on one long circular, but for those who like double points, I recommend using 5 needles. It takes the stress off of the stitches at the end of the needles and makes for more even colourwork.
