Fiúise
{few-shuh} Irish: fuchsia
Walking home at dusk, I always notice the fuchsia hedges that grow along the side of the road. As the light slowly drains from the sky, their dangling forms glow like jewels against the backdrop of evening shadows.
Inspired by this imagery, Fiúise features a floral colourwork yoke and a delicate picot edged neckline. Combining tonal and lightly variegated yarns offers limitless possibilities for blended colour effects.
{Note: an experimental version of this pattern is now also available in DK/ Aran weight.! After you purchase the pattern, two separate files - for the original sport weight version and the new DK/ Aran weight - are available to download. }
