First Frost
Last in my Peppercorn Cowl Series!
Many of us are familiar with the change of seasons and the signs in nature that hint at the change. The magnificent color of the leaves as Fall comes to us along with cooler nights and windier days signal the change. Winter is coming.
I always look for the first frost of the year. When I get up in the morning and gaze at the coating that looks glassy, opaque, or crystalline I know that snow is soon to follow.
First Frost is a perfect knit to welcome the coming winter. It is knit flat then joined with a 3 needle bind off. You have the option to knit it any length you wish! It has leaves with popcorns and an I-cord edge for a lovely finished look.
It is a wonderful knit for advanced beginners with a little appetite for adventure and interesting enough for more experienced knitters. Approximately 10” by 32” after blocking and love
