A sweet filet blanket that is worked in the round and features alternating inverted solid triangle and lace triangle motifs. This blanket can be made from yarn of any ply or fibre, and sized to individual preference (by working the simple three-round repeat as many times as desired). It works up very quickly and is advanced beginner worthy.
The basic blanket pattern (grey blanket example) is detailed within the pattern document. The supplement file contains instructions for varying the blanket by incorporating a solid round (teal blanket example).
The example blankets - refer to images - use either DK or Worsted weight yarn, of between 400g to 800g in total. Details are provided within the pattern instructions for yarn amount and hook size for these projects.
I hope you enjoy making your blanket. Remember to #FirstBornLoveBlanket @TheCrochetFix in Social Media so I can see all your lovely finished items.
Tip: if your blanket takes the appearance of ‘turning’, work between one round of each repeat on the reverse side. This isn’t an issue for all makers, however it will solve the problem for those whom it occurs for.
