There is nothing cuter than watching a child eat cake on their first birthday. They typically get more on their face and hands than in their mouths! As my daughter will soon celebrate her first birthday, I thought a cake hat would be a perfect (and clean) way to celebrate her special day! Don’t worry she’ll get a real cake too.

Recommended Yarn: 140 yards Knitpicks “Swish Worsted” (90 yards in White, and 50 yards in preferred “frosting” color - I used Carnation and Eddy), plus a small amount of Sunshine for candle flame.

Recommended Needles: Circular 16” Needles in size 8, and DPN in size 8
