This stocking is worked in a spiral from the
toe upward to the cuff. Do not join at the end
of rounds. Use a removable stitch marker to
mark the first stitch of the round and move the
marker up with each subsequent round. The
heel is shaped in short rows and then rejoined
to work in the round. Ribbing is added at the
end by working additional chains and attaching
each row to the top of the round with slip
stitches.
