The Fireside Mittens are a super easy crochet pattern for beginners. Worked in the round, they’re crocheted in one piece (yay, no sewing!), and my addition of elegant eyelets makes them easier and cuter than traditional mittens.

The printable PDF pattern uses the single crochet, double crochet, and chain stitch. The pattern is available in three sizes and explains how to adapt the finished product to any hand. The listing includes four files: one with all of the sizes, and one for each separate size.

These mittens are not the traditional bulky mittens you might be used to, but a thinner more elegant version that would be perfect for a day shopping in the city or a date in the park. Despite their thinner silhouette, they’re sure to keep your fingers warm.
