The hat and sweater are written as an introduction to Intarsia-in-the-Round. Be brave! This Shark won’t bite.
MATERIALS
Swans Island Washable Collection, 100% Organic Merino Wool,
dk weight (50 gms, 140 yds each)
Colors Shown:
ColorA: EWS211Wedgwood 3 (3, 4, 4, 4) skeins for sweater and 1 skein for hat
Color B: EWS212 Midnight 1 skein for each sweater and hat
Color C: EWS201 Snowy Owl 1 skein for each sweater and hat
Color D: EWS204 Graphite 1 skein for both sweater and hat
US sizes 4 and 5 (3.5 and 3.75mm) set of dpns and 16” circular needle or sizes needed to obtain gauge.
Stitch markers, stitch holders or waste yarn, tapestry needle

Hat Circumference: 16 (17½, 18½, 20)“

NOTES
-The hat and sweater are written as an introduction to Intarsia-in-the-Round. Be brave! This Shark won’t bite.
- Stripes may be worked by carrying unused yarn behind work, catching between sts every other row or so, or yarn can be cut and ends woven in finishing.
- Sleeves and body of sweater are joined at the underarm and finished in one piece. Neck is shaped using short-rows, wrist and body have faced hems to be whip-stitched down in finishing.
- On the hat, it is recommended to use a different colored st marker to easily identify the beg of the rnd.
