This easy to crochet pillow makes a bold statement with the oversized Mum and abstract pattern. Create it your way: add more or less abstract pattern, or use the mum only. Simply let your creativity flow. Pillow shown is 14 x 14” (35.5 x 35.5). If you want the Mum to fill up more of the pillow space, use a smaller pillow size of your choice.

Front: 300 yards medium worsted weight yarn in blue, or yarn color of your choice (for 14 x 14” (35.5 x 35.5 cm) pillow).
Back and Ruffle Trim: 385 yards medium worsted weight yarn in turquoise, or yarn color of your choice (for 14 x 14” (35.5 x 35.5 cm) pillow).
Flower: 200 yards light worsted weight or heavy DK weight yarn in off white.
14 x 14” (35.5 x 35.5 cm) pillow form, or size of your choice.
Large embroidery needle
5.0 mm crochet hook

Pattern Stitch
Front: Pattern consists of alternating between 2 sc rows and 6 Sc / Dc rows. Sc / Dc rows are done as follows: Sc in first st, Dc in next st. On subsequent row: Sc in Dc of previous row, and Dc in Sc of previous row.
Back: Simple Sc rows.
