Filet Ripples
by Carole Prior
This pattern is
available from leisurearts.com
for $5.99.
Note: Entire afghan is worked holding 2 strands of yarn together.
Gauge: 7 dc = 3”; In pattern, one repeat = 6” and 6 rows = 7”
Amount of Each Color Needed:
MC (Off-white)- 36 ounces (1020 grams, 2100 yards)
A (Green)- 12 ounces (340 grams, 700 yards)
B (Rose)- 10 ounces (280 grams, 585 yards)
Using two strands of yarn and a jumbo hook makes it quick and easy to finish this pretty filet afghan. Worked in double crochets, a traditional ripple pattern gives the throw its lacy appeal. A simple scalloped edging borders the cozy coverlet.
