Sweet little Fiesta just loves to dance and play one of her favorite times of year is when Cinco de Mayo comes around and she can wear her traditional dress and join in the folk dancing celebration in her tiny village. She doesn’t need a holiday to be beautiful though. Sometimes she just likes to dress up!

Manic Yarn

Materials Needed:
Yarn: Worsted weight in main color for kitty: 150 yards (I used Yarn Bee tender touch (brush-able, in black); Small amounts of sparkle red, green, and white for dress (I used Hobby Lobby “I Love This Yarn” Metallic).
Eyes: 12mm safety eyes.
Stuffing: Poly-fil (I used Poly-fil brand crafters choice dry polyester packing fiber fill).
Pipe cleaner or wire + electrical tape for tail, arms, legs.
Needle nosed pliers
Hook: Susan Bates (F) 3.75mm or similar.
Wire cat brush if using “fuzzy/brush-able” yarn.
Size (“ tall when finished with the recommended yarn weight and hook)
