Fiddletown Capelet
This flirty capelet features an open lower front to allow plenty of arm movement, with a circular top that slips over your head to provide hassle-free wearing -- unlike a standard shawl, there’s no messing with closures or trying to keep the ends in place. Fiddletown rests a bit high on the shoulders and back neck to keep drafts at bay, but it can easily be made to sit lower on the shoulders: simply stop decreasing when the width suits you. Make the capelet extra fancy with a vintage brooch or a special button placed in the area above the front opening.
NEEDLES: US 9 (5.50mm) circular needles (or size needed to obtain gauge), plus one circular needle in one size smaller and one circular needle in two sizes smaller than gauge needle
