Fezziwig is inspired by a character in Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol—Ebenezer Scrooge’s former employer, who was known for his festive Christmas parties. Scrooge revisits one of Fezziwig’s parties when he is visited by the Ghost of Christmas Past. In this spirit, I designed Fezziwig with a simple cable pattern and used bright colours brighten a dreary winter day. Any heavy worsted yarn will work—choose something that makes you feel festive, just like Fezziwig.
