The design is such that it works just as well in 2 colours as it does using up all the oddments left in the bottom of your stash to create the little brick pattern.
There are only 4 ends to sew in when working the 2 colour version (2 extra per colour if working with oddments) which means that if you hate sewing this is a winner).
