Ferro Battuto Scarf
Ferro Battuto means Iron Work in italian. The design chart is adapted from Barbara Walker’s Wrought Iron Panel 1 from her Charted Knitting Designs book. This tiny scarf is designed to be your companion from the colder winds into the spring mornings. Something small and light that can fit into any bag or coat pocket, but warm and super soft to the touch.
The yarn used for this is 100% Cashmere from Chianti Cashmere Very small production where the goats roam throughout Tuscany, Italy, and they are hand combed by Nora. A truly special yarn to work with! 1.
