Fernwood Raglan
Beneath the sunfaded docks, small shore waves quietly lap in the evening shade. The blueberry bushes have just begun to fruit, with bright white-green berries growing along splayed branches. Summer has just arrived. The individual boards creek as they’re walked on while empty boats bob up & down in a greeting. Scattered sunlight glints off the the water’s surface like glitter. The old campground has been here for decades, but each year the boards creak in the same way, the sunlight holds that same gold, and the breeze ripples across the water in the same pattern.
Construction Notes: Sweater is worked with raglan shaping from the top down, flat to start and then joined in the round at center front when neckline shaping is completed. Sleeve sts are placed on hold, body is continued in the round to the hem where lace is worked. Sleeves are then taken off hold and worked seamlessly in the round. Pattern is both charted and fully written.
Pattern is A-line shaped in the bodice and is worn with -1 to 2” positive ease.
