Fernside Kids is a simple short sleeved top with a collar, it’s a perfect light layer for kids. And a great quick knit and blank canvas for a new knitter or someone new to circular knitting from the top down.
It’s a versatile pattern which can be knit in DK/8ply yarn or any yarn that you can meet gauge with. This unisex pattern is written in fourteen sizes from Newborn to 10 years, and is completely seamless.

Gauge: 22 sts and 30 rows = 4 inches/10 cm in stockinette.
Please take the time to knit a swatch before beginning this project. It is also important to wash and block your swatch to ensure the best fit possible.
There is approximately 1.5 -2.5 inches (3.8 - 6.3cm) of positive ease included in this pattern for a relaxed fit which makes it great for layering.
