This sock design was inspired by the fences that dotted the hillsides of my alma mater on the Central Coast. Seeing the fences poke out amongst the dry summer grasses felt quintessential California. Fence Post Socks is a shortie sock pattern with a square heel and stretch rib texture design. If you prefer a long leg, instructions are included.

Fence Post Socks are knit in the round from the cuff down. The heel features a heel flap and gusset with a square heel. The pattern incorporates twisted rib, knits and purls to create the unique fence post look.
