Felted Needle Vase
by Meg Myers
This pattern is available as a
free Ravelry download
Use scraps of wool from your stash to knit this needle vase in a day or two! Using multiple strands of yarn creates a thick fabric when felted, strong enough to hold up a huge bouquet of needles.
Both worsted weight and sport weight (used doubled) wools will be appropriate for this pattern, which is knit with at least 2 and up to 5 strands at a time on increasingly bigger needles.
The original pattern was made with handspun scraps (details in the pattern) and weighs 10 ounces / 283 grams.
