This revised edition of our light weight felt hat offers a choice of three sizes and two brim variations. Made in a single strand of worsted weight, it is great for handpainted yarns.

Sizes: Child, adult small, and adult large. The exact finished size is determined by the amount of felting and the mold used for blocking.

Yarn Requirements: Approximately 250 (300, 340) yards of a feltable worsted weight wool or wool/mohair blend for the wide brim version. Approximately 30 (40, 45) yards less for the narrow brim hat.

Needles: Use size 10.5 (6.5 mm) 24” circular and a set of double pointed needles. A 16” circular is optional.
