Welcome back to my Breed of the Month Club!
Each month I will be releasing a new, free hat pattern featuring some favorite dog breeds. Thank you for all of your wonderful suggestions. Unfortuntely I will be unable to use all of them but I will use as many of them as I can!

February’s star is the Dachshund.

This worsted weigh hat knits up quickly and is a great way to use up those partial skeins leftover from other projects. Color options are limitless, Pom poms are optional. Basic hat instructions are written, color work is charted. The ears are worked flat and sewn to the to the dog’s head once hat is completed to give a cute 3-d effect to the pattern.

This series of hats is intentionally designed to be interchangeable. Like the Bones and Paws border on the January Hat better? Use it and switch to the Dachshund hat chart after the border is completed!
