February - Two Turtle Doves
Two Turtle Doves and other birds
Welcome to the 2019 Pattern of the Month Club. 2018 was the first year I published a new ornament pattern each month and it was a smashing success. With no plan I pretty much made what popped into my head. For 2019, I decided I would design the ornaments around a theme and I am very excited to share ornaments all based on the 12 Days of Christmas!
Materials:
Yarn: Any weight of wool in two - four colors (approx. 20 yards of main color, 2-3 yards of contrast colors)
Needles: 4 Double Pointed Needles:
Fingering & Sport: US 1 (2.25mm),
DK & Worsted: US 4 (3.5mm)
Stuffing - I use the saved snippets and bits of yarn from other projects to stuff my ornaments.
Yarn scraps for beak and eyes
Tapestry and/or embroidery needle
