Fawntana
Fawntana is meant to portray the beauty of femininity in a modern accessory with lace. Worked from the bottom up, a simple 4-row lace pattern is surrounded by texture.
Sizes: Head circumference of 20-22”/51-56 cm (22-23.5”/56-59.7 cm)
Yarn: 180-200 yards (165-183 meters) of sport weight yarn. Shown using Lakes Yarn and Fiber Organic Merino Sport. (370 yd/338 m per 113 g); 100% Merino. Color: Peony, 1 skein.
Needles: US#3/3.25 mm & US#4/3.5 mm 16”/40 cm circular needles and a set of US#4/3.5mm DPNs, or size needed to obtain gauge.
Gauge: 32 sts/35 rows = 4”/10 cm in k2/p2 rib, using smaller needles prior to blocking.
Notions: 13 (14) stitch markers, one in a different color to indicate the beginning of the round and a tapestry needle.
