This pattern introduces you to using two circular needles to make mittens or gloves. By using a solid color and a long color repeat yarn in a Fair Isle pattern, these gloves give the illusion of being difficult when really they are not hard at all to make.

In this lesson learn how to do a corrugated ribbing, two-color stranded patterns, gusset thumb, kitchner stitch, two different type of thumb top finishes and make the pattern either a mitten or glove.

They are called Faux Fair Isle because I learned that true Fair Isle is made from Shetland Wool and traditional symbols from Mary Jane Mucklestone’s Craftsy.com class. So, these are stranded with the look of Fair Isle without being a true Fair Isle :-)
