Faux Cable Headband
This faux cable headband/earwarmer uses a clever slip stitch to create a cable look, without needing a cable needle. Projects work up very fast using bulky or super bulky yarn (or sub in 3 strands of similarly coloured worsted weight for a really unique look). Great gifts, stocking stuffers, and these also sell very well at craft fairs/bazaars!
Supplies:
Yarn: Super bulky or bulky yarn, approximately 45-55 yards total.
Needle: US 13 (9 mm) - gauge isn’t too important, so feel free to go up or down for a skinny or thick earwarmer.
Notions: Yarn needle for weaving in ends and seaming the headband together.
Sizes:
Any, guidelines are provided for baby/toddler/child/adult, but directions are given for custom fittings.
