The uniquely structured shallow triangle shawl is worked flat from the top down. Increases happen on every row. There are three bind off options: beaded or picot or plain.

There are 3 very different samples for this Farm Yarn Shawl, I used rustic farm yarns from Ross Farm (Amy), Maple Hill Farm (Sam of Lavender Lune) and Get Bentz Farm (Theresa).

Handspun would be an excellent choice for this shawl project as well.

Ross Farm yarn produced a lovely Funky Cheviot yarn with a 3-color barber pole effect which I paired with a pink solid in Leicester Longwool DK weight.

For a different look, I chose brightly dyed (by MUSE 2320) fingering weight Icelandic yarn from Get Bentz Farm and added an extra stockinette section to incorporate 4 colors.

And for the Maple Hill Farm of Lavender Lune sample, we used a brown-on-brown colorway from her first clip of her own Shetland sheep.

Tech edit and graphic design by Corrina Ferguson.
