Naming patterns is not always the easiest thing to do. In the case of FANtastic, the piece seemed to name itself as it “fanned” out as it developed. Hopefully it is “fantastic” as well…a double meaning to the name. Easy to knit, with simple wrap and turn short rows, this shawl offers endless possibilities of styling as it “fans” across the body in creative ways. The look is easily changeable by using two balls of the same multi-colored yarn, or perhaps two balls of different colors. Or what about a solid color with a multi-colored…experiment and see what works for you. Oh, it is reversable too!
