Fandom Scarf
This asymmetrical scarf (the lacy edge is only on one side) is worked from its lacy feather and fan edge upwards.
Mesh fishnet stitch stripes add interest to the scarf’s garter stitch background.
The scarf can be made from either one of our sock / fingering weight yarns available online from our Etsy shop or website:
- Berry Squishy (100% superwash Merino wool 4 ply sock)
- Squish Wish Sock (75% superwash Merino wool, 25% nylon)
Scarf shown in photos uses 1 skein of Berry Squishy, Into the Sunset colorway. If you wish to make it longer, you will need more yarn. Also, don’t forget to alternate skeins when using hand dyed yarns for a more uniform appearance and to avoid pooling.
LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY:
Intermediate
STITCHES AND TECHNIQUES YOU NEED TO KNOW:
To make this scarf you need to know how to knit (k) stitches, purl (p) stitches, do yarn overs (yo) and knit two stitches together (k2tog).
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS:
The finished scarf measures approximately 38” in length and 10” wide. You can of course make it longer but you will need to purchase more yarn.
