Very fast and easy.

Sizes: Child’s sm, med, lg - Youth and Women’s sm, med, and lg - Men’s med and lg.

Finished lenght approximately (5”, 6”, 7” - 8”, 9”, 10” - 11”, 12”). Size will vary some with different yarns, but can be controlled with careful felting and blocking.

Yarn: Slippers are made with a double strand of worsted weight yarn. Choose yarns that will felt easily and firmly. Use 2 strands of the same worsted weight wool held together, or a strand each of 2 different yarns. One strand of mohair and one of wool make a good combination.

Yardage: Approximately (100, 125, 150 - 175, 200, 225 - 250, 275) yards of each yarn (or twice this amount of one yarn used double). Contrast cuff, approximately (25, 25, 25 - 35, 35, 35 - 45, 45) yards each of two yarns (or twice this amount of one yarn used double). Add cuff yardage to total for solid color slippers.

Needles: Size 13 straight. If you prefer, these slippers may be knit seamless on double pointed needles, or on 16” or 24” circulars.

Gauge: Approximately 2.5 sts = 1” before felting.
