This is the perfect fall cap. It’s knitted very loosely and will fit anyone. It’s worked from the bottom up in a 2x2 rib.

When measuring your gauge, stretch out your piece until right before the stitches start to stretch horizontally. The rib pattern should be laid mostly flat. Unstretched it should be extremely squished together!

If you are looking to use a different yarn, make sure you are using a yarn that calls for US 5 or 6 needles. The stretchiness of this hat comes from that it’s knit very loosely!
