Fallowfield
by Sarah Hatton
SARAH HATTON’S latest design for us has a contemporary feel - yet it was inspired by traditional gansey sweaters. The subtle combination of textures includes moss stitch edgings, a diamond patterned yoke, and cabled sections along the raglans. The design also features a wide, shallow funnel neck, and elbow-length sleeves. Rowan’s Hemp Tweed yarn produces a fabric with great visual interest, and provides good stitch definition; it comes in a palette of 10 muted, heathery shades.
