This shawl pattern is based on colour changes in the yarn. Because it may be necessary to work occasional extra rows to use up a given colour in the sequence, exact stitch counts are not provided or necessary.

If using a different yarn, two 100g skeins of fingering weight in different colours for the Leaf and Plain Section, or a ball of Estelle Yarns Rainbow Autumn would also provide great results. This may change the shape, unless you work fewer short rows while making the leaves.
