Since I firmly believe you can never have too many pairs of gloves (fingerless or otherwise!), I had to turn this intriguing stitch pattern into these quick-to-crochet wrist/hand warmers.

They are crocheted flat and seamed, making them easy to adjust to fit children through adults by working more or less of the pattern rows and adjust the thumb opening. Self-striping sock yarns are great for this design and show off the ‘falling leaves’ on your new gloves perfectly.

The pattern uses these stitches: double treble crochet; single & double crochet; foundation single crochet; front- and back-post double crochet.
