The Fair Isle Beanie pattern is a great way to step up your knitting game. The folded rib is perfect for practicing with the ribber. You can adjust the number of motifs to make the beanie shorter or longer, depending on your preference.

This pattern gives you two options for making the crown: by hand or with a knitting machine. Both ways will give you a similar look and take the same amount of time. Personally, I like knitting the crown by hand because it’s a nice change from using the machine. Plus, I can do it while relaxing on the sofa with my dog!

I love making lots of beanies at once, so I usually knit several ribs first and then have fun playing with different motifs and colours for each beanie in the batch.
