UPDATE DEC 2021! We are happy to announce an update to Issue 29: Summer 2019. This updated version includes fixes to errata and grading of an extra two sizes each for the following garment patterns: Earthen, Ogee, Sanctuary, Faience and Rievlaux. This brings Issue 29: Summer 2019 in line with Pom Pom’s current minimum size range. Errata can also be found on our website here. If you previously purchased the first edition in digital or print format please ensure you download and knit from the updated version - easily identified as ‘2021 Update’ in the PDF file name.

You can subscribe to Pom Pom Quarterly or order your copy of Issue 29 here! Don’t forget to join our group for updates, KALs and chatter about Pom Pom patterns!

Please note: the Pom Pom Quarterly ebook version has been updated to include two additional sizes. The updated sizes are as follows:
Sizes: 1 (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7)
Finished chest (fullest point) circumference: 101.5 (113.5, 126.5, 138.5, 151, 163, 176)cm / 40 (44¾, 49¾, 54½, 59½, 64¼, 69¼)” - to be worn with up to 25cm / 10” positive ease.
Model has 104cm / 41” bust, stands 162.5cm / 5’4” tall and is wearing a size 1.

Updated yardage is also as follows:
Yarn: La Bien Aimeé Merino Sport (sport weight; 100% superwash Merino wool; 325m / 355yds per 100g skein)
Shade: Sansa; 3 (4, 4, 5, 5, 6, 6) skeins

Gauge: 23 sts & 29 rows = 10cm / 4” over Chart pattern on 3.5mm needles, after blocking.

Needles: 3.5mm / US 4 circular needle, 80cm / 32” length
3.25mm / US 3 circular needle, 80cm / 32” length
3.5mm / US 4 crochet hook (for cast-off)
Always use a needle size that will result in the correct gauge after blocking.

Notions: 4 locking stitch markers, scrap yarn or stitch holders, tapestry needle

Notes: This light summery tunic is worked flat in one piece. The body is cast on at the back and worked back and forth to the shoulders. The fronts and back are then divided for left and right shoulders and neck shaping. The left and right fronts are worked flat separately. Stitches are picked up from the centre front edges and worked in twisted rib before joining the fronts down the centre with a 3-needle cast-off. Finally, stitches are then picked up from both sides and worked in twisted rib before joining with a crochet slip stitch seam up to the armhole.
