The Fadywavy Hat pattern is great for using up your yarn stash in the most used yarn weight; worsted weight. The sample is made with 6 different yarn colors, you need only about one oz of each color! But you can play with the colors, you can do 6 for using favorite colors, same colors with different shades, rainbow colors (rainbow has 6 colors), you can use less colors, even only two; fading the at the middle!
I am already planning to make a 3-colored one with 3 shades of brown, my favorite color.
