Yarn Fairy all original lace, in a lovely heirloom shawl. This was inspired by heavily carved, ornate old box. You know it’s old by the handiwork and the vintage feel, heft and look of the aged wood. Once open, you find all sort of treasures and your mind whirls as you think of the person who owns the box. There are pressed tulips, strands of pearls, old photos, antique lace and tatting, so many more goodies. This shawl will be a treasure for life, a masterpiece to be handed down. Perhaps in a cedar box? That’s what we did for Pixie #1’s wedding.

Yarn: Yarn Fairy Siren Merino Silk, 55/45 Silk/merino, 2580 yd/100g 2 skeins needed
Needle: US size 0/2mm 32 - 60 inch circular & wood DPN’s for c/o Needle size depends on how dense you like your lace and how tight a knitter you are.
Gauge: 32 stitches, 40 row over 4 inches of st st.
Finished Measurements: TBD 70-75 inches across.
