This pattern is a lighter weight and slightly different pattern configuration of Ezra’s Buttery Soft Blanket, my most popular classic blanket design. This modified version was designed for with a DK weight yarn in a blend of alpaca and organic cotton. It has the most wonderful “hand,” and like the bulkier merino version is both soft and easy to care for as well. As with the original Ezra blanket, this pattern allows the knitter to expand the size of the blanket by adding blocks and/or increasing the beautiful seed stitch borders on all sides. It is sure to become an heirloom for your special baby.
