This is a revised version of my Slightly Slouchy Tam hat, turned newsboy cap. It’s simple and quick and uses my fav very very inexpensive Bernat Softee Chunky yarn.
The fit of the brim band can be easily altered by casting on and knitting the beginning ribbing with smaller or larger needles. The length of this pattern best fits a small adult or teen. For a larger or slouchier hat, try knitting extra rows after the increases or using larger needles.
