Evolving
Evolving is a delicately cabled knit, featuring cabled textures throughout the yoke and additional cabling at the sides of the body and above the sleeve cuffs.
The name “Evolving” is inspired by the cabled textures, which grow in size and complexity as the yoke progresses.
SAMPLE
The wearer is 5’10” / 178 cm with a 37” / 92.5 cm chest circumference. The sample has been worked in size L, giving the wearer 7.25” / 18 cm of positive ease at the chest. To accommodate the wearer’s height, body and sleeve lengths have been increased by 1” / 2.5 cm each.
CONSTRUCTION
This garment is worked top-down, in the round. Short row shaping is incorporated into the neckband to optimise fit without compromising the cable pattern that follows. The majority of the yoke features cablework pattern. Once the yoke is completed, stitches are separated into body and sleeves, which are each worked separately and in the round. Additional, optional short row shaping can be worked into the upper body if desired.
For the cablework, all cable patterns are both written in full and charted.

This garment is graded into sizes XS (S, M, L, XL) (2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL). Recommended positive ease is 2-8” / 5-20 cm at the chest circumference.
