This is a basic crewneck pullover sweater your 16” Skellie can wear anywhere anytime. Whether going out to party, at the movies, or just relaxing on the couch - easy and basic and always looks sharp.

Sweater is worked bottom up, casting on for the bottom ribbing with smaller needle size, changing to larger needle beginning with a small increase and working in stockinette stitch up to the armholes. The sweater is then split, working first the front to the shoulders, building up shoulders slightly, then placing shoulder sts on holder while binding off neck sts. Back is then worked as a rectangle section with no additional shaping. Shoulder sts are joined using a 3 needle bind off but can be bound off and sewn together instead. Sleeves are worked by picking up sts at the armholes and knitting down to the cuff, changing to smaller needles for ribbing. Sleeve length can easily be adjusted by starting ribbing at desired length.
