In The Hunger Games Series by Suzanne Collins, Katniss learned her archery skills from her bow making father as a young girl. The family Everdeen is the inspiration for this cowl, an irresistible combination of sturdy cabling and lush winter lace designed to look like the featured shaft of an arrow. Worked in DK weight yarn, this cowl is a quick knit that will keep you warm in the chill evenings of Autumn into the frosty mornings of Spring.

The Short Version (not pictured) uses a single 100g skein of DK weight yarn. The Long Version (shown) requires 2 skeins.
