Eventide Cardigan
Noro yarns are well know for their long color repeats. The new Silk Garden Sock is a great mix of wool and silk, and it’s far softer to the touch than any other Noro yarn. The garter stitch pattern really shows off the beauty of the color changes.
The pattern includes directions for button holes, so the cardigan can be worn open, clasped as shown, or with buttons. If you plan to wear the cardigan open, choose a size near or slightly under your actual bust size. If you plan to wear the cardigan with a clasp, choose a size near or just above your actual bust size. If you plan to wear the cardigan with buttons, choose a size 4-8 inches over your actual bust size. Please note that in the larger sizes the sleeves will pull to the front when buttoned, but the stretch of garter stitch should allow it to be worn comfortably.
The sweater shown has occasional rows of stockinette. These are not written into the pattern - the rows are best placed randomly by working a purl row on the wrong side.
