Notes: Etel is worked flat in pieces from the bottom up with yarn held double throughout and two length options. The back and fronts begin with the intarsia chart, and decreases shape the front V-neck. The shoulders are shaped with short rows and joined with a three-needle cast-off. Sleeves are picked up and worked in the round to the cuff. A two-colour Latvian braid is worked around the edge of the cardigan before working the 1x1 Rib button band.
The cardigan uses a single block of intarsia to construct all the colourwork parts of the design. Then, it is reversed (at the front) and combined (at the back) to create a different outlook.
