Finished Size 33 1/4 (37 1/4, 41 1/4, 46 3/4, 50 3/4)“ bust circumference. Vest shown measures 33 1/4”, modeled with 1 1/4” of positive ease.
Yarn O-Wool Balance Bulky (50% cotton, 50% wool; 106 yd 97 m/3 1/2 oz 100 g): #2026 opal, 5 (5, 6, 6, 7) skeins.
Needles Collar, hem, and armhole edgings—size 9 (5.5 mm): 16” and 24” circulars (cir). Body and panels—size 10 (6 mm): 24” cir. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions Waste yarn; markers (m); stitch holders; tapestry needle.
Gauge 12 sts and 16 rows = 4” in St st on larger needle.
Four separate pieces—two side panels and two garterstitch panels—are sewn together to make the Estuary Tank. Stitches are picked up along the side of each garter panel, and the rest of the body is worked in the round to the underarm.
