When I started to plan the design for a collaboration with Knotions, ideas swirled about like leaves on a blustery autumn day. I had a hard time choosing which design path to travel. I decided to involve my newsletter subscribers and presented some design options for them to choose. Esprit d’Evelyn is the result. It was so freeing to put some design decisions into someone else’s hands so I could get to work on the design. I see more shared design journeys in the future.
This wrap design also accomplished another design goal – creating a design in honor of my mom, Evelyn. This collaboration with Knotions turned out to be the perfect opportunity. With green as its color theme, it was also my mom’s favorite color. Esprit d’Evelyn embraces you in comfort, just like a mother’s love wraps you in warmth and security.
Esprit d’Evelyn is an asymmetrical, triangular wrap offered in three sizes. It combines the rhythm of stockinette and lace while challenging you to step up to the plate and elevate your knitting skills. You’ll enjoy this journey exploring and celebrating your creativity while creating a wrap you’ll love to wear.
